The Reform Symposium was my inspiration for creating my first blog post. In the past 3 days I have learned so many amazing ways to engage my students and to properly integrate technology in the classroom. I first attended the Reform Symposium in January and was excited to get some additional PD over the past few days. I am planning on using this blog as a way to share the engaging activities and technology in my classroom.
The first major new project that I am planning is for students to backchannel in the classroom. I know that I learn by discussion of material and I think this will be a great adventure in the classroom. I am currently researching the best way to get students involved in using technology collaboration tools, while also trying to be sure the site is not blocked at my school. Any ideas of websites I should check out?
